Its first issue was published in April 1949. International Problems is quarterly&#13;\njournal brought out by the Institute of International Politics and Economics, Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"im_para has-medium-font-size\"><em>International Problems<\/em> welcomes the submission of scholarly articles on matters of&#13;\ninternational relations, international security, international law, and globalisation studies.&#13;\n<em>International Problems<\/em> publishes original and review research articles and book reviews in English&#13;\nand Serbian, that have not been published before and that are not under consideration for&#13;\npublication anywhere else. <em>International Problems<\/em> does not publish foreign policy&#13;\ncommentary or policyproposals.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"im_para has-medium-font-size\">The Editorial Board favours manuscripts that present the research addressing contemporary&#13;\ncontroversial issues in international relations from various disciplinary and methodological&#13;\nperspectives. Espousing no specific political or methodological stance and aiming to advance our&#13;\nunderstanding of and provoke deeper dialogue on rapidly changing world politics in the 21st century,&#13;\nthe Editorial Board prioritizes the following themes:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-list\">\n<li>Transformation of world politics in the early 21st century.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phenomenology and practice of transnationalism and cosmopolitanism.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Institutionalisation of international relations and its challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various theoretical standpoints on current global processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Controversial use of foreign policy instruments by major global actors(old andemerging).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its advanced technologies on international&#13;\nrelations in the 21st century.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Civilisations, religion, and identities in the context of world politics and globalisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conceptual and methodological innovations in epistemology of International Relations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Editorial policy, scope and aims International Problems\/Me\u0111unarodni problemi (in further text: International Problems) is the&#13; oldest peer-reviewed journal in Serbia and the Balkans publishing original research focused on&#13; international affairs.
