Scientific journal “Međunarodni problemi/International Problems“ represents the oldest academic publication of its kind in international relations domain in Serbia and the neighboring region. The Journal has been published continuously since 1949. Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia categorizes it as “international journal” (M23). It is published with support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.
The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and book and conference reviews in Serbian and English language. The authors are representatives of the academic community in the broadest sense (lecturers, researchers, postgraduate students). The publication frequency is quarterly (4 per year). The focus is on scientific research in domains of international relations, international security, international law, and globalization studies. The approximate schedule of publishing is trimonthly: March, June, September and December.
“International Problems” are directed towards specific target groups – research organizations, universities, libraries, government organizations, corporations, international organizations, CSOs, the media, a wide range of decision-makers, diplomats, scholars, academicians, and postgraduate students. The Journal adheres to the open access principles. The manuscripts are published free of charge, without any (direct or indirect) costs for the authors.
